" The work is mainly portraiture, impressive heads cast in bronze and quite unusual in the depth of detail and sensitive drawing or modelling that must have been achieved in the original clay. Through the love and skill of the sculptor's hands they are alive, and one or two carvings in wood of abstract shapes prove his complete knowledge and control of shape and form."
